From April 2015 til February 2017, I worked for Realbabymilk Breastfeeding as the Peer Support Coordinator for Cornwall. I was also employed by Rbm as a trainer – I had the fantastic job of training new volunteers to become breastfeeding peer supporters!
I volunteered weekly for over 4 years as a breastfeeding peer supporter at community groups and I am currently launching a new group. I am incredibly lucky to have been able to train as volunteer hospital breastfeeding peer supporter and gave much of my time to the postnatal ward at my local hospital.
After leaving Realbabymilk I went to work for the ABM – Association of Breastfeeding Mothers. I worked for the ABM from February 2017 until June 2018. During this time, I worked as a Training Project Development Manager and assisted the ABM in taking their Mother Supports and Foundation Breastfeeding Support courses and turning them into on-line training programs.
