From April 2015 til February 2017, I worked for Realbabymilk as the Peer Support Coordinator for Cornwall. I was also employed by Rbm as a volunteer trainer – I had the job of training mothers to become breastfeeding peer supporters!
I volunteered weekly for over 4 years as a breastfeeding peer supporter at several community groups and I am currently launching a group. I was fortunate to train as volunteer hospital breastfeeding peer supporter and gave much of my time to the postnatal ward at my local hospital.
After leaving Realbabymilk I went to work for the ABM – Association of Breastfeeding Mothers. I worked for the ABM from February 2017 until June 2018. During this time, I worked as the Training Project Development Manager and assisted the ABM in taking their Mother Supporter and Foundation Breastfeeding Support courses and turning them into on-line training programs.
